When Two Bumps Collide
The characters storys:
Jacobs story: well im 15 and i have no point in my
life i dont have parents( they died in a terriable
crash) so i live with my aunt who is never home and no
one likes me and i dont think any
one ever will.............
Lillies story:im 15 years old, and i love school, i have
striaght a's but my family is horrible! My parents beat
me every day and i am not alowed to hang out with
my friends!!!I hate them!!!!
chapter 1
It is a new year at woodland high, and i am not trilled!
I hate people. They always hate me and i dont like
homework even though i never do it. But, i hope that
this year i will meet someone that doesnt hate me. I
am gonna wear these new shoes that i got but i dont
have very much money so that is big deal. i hope
every thing works out.
when i got to school nobody liked my shoes i loved
them and nobody would stop laughing at them!! I was
mad!! But then i relized that this one girl wasnt
laughing or smiling. i was confused she came over to
me and stood up for me and told them to stop laughing
that there is not reason to be. she was really pretty
too and i asked her what her name was and she said "
im sorry i have to go im gonna be late for history". But
i relized that was my next class so i walked with her to
history. We talked on the way about random stuff and
i asked her her name, she said "Lillie" and i said "thats
a pretty name" and she said "thanks" as she smiled.
When Jacob got home, he didn't pay attention to his
Aunt telling him that he hadn't cleaned his room and
wouldn't be able to do anything, but right when it was
all done, all he could think of was the fact that he had
met someone he really trully cared about and that she
thought cared about him! He was so excited that he
went straight upstairs, called the number that he had
gotten form her while they were in history class and
asked her if she wanted to study with him the next
day after school for their big history test coming
up....she said yes and they talked with each other the
whole day at school and when they got to Jacob's
house.....he asked Lillie if her room was clean at her
house and she told him, not wondering why he had
asked such an odd question, "yes because if it wasn't
clean i would be in deep trouble when she got home!!"
He told her about how his Aunt took everything away
from him if his room wasn't constantly spotless and
vaccumed to a tee. She wanted to tell him what would
happen to her but she knew that it was a bad idea
since he might try to help her....but, she deeply
trusted him, so she told him...."my foster parents
would beat me with a belt if my room wasn't
constantly clean without a crumb in site...."he looked
at her dazed and confused for a moment and then
asked her...."are you okay with what they do to
you?....."she said no but there was nothing she could
do about it until she was 18 yrs. old and was able to
move out of the house. He didn't say another word
about it again because he knew it was a sore subject
for her....he didn't want to hurt her with words when
she was already being hurt with hands. They got done
studying and started watching T.V. when suddenly his
phone started ringing.....he answered and it was his
Aunt saying that his room better be clean...bla bla bla
bla bla bla....and he hung up the phone and told
Lillie that it was just his Aunt. She told him she would
leave so he wouldn't get in trouble because of he told
her that his Aunt didn't even care...so they sat and
talked and talked and talked having a deep
conversation, falling more and more in love with each
other....eventually Lillie said she had to go so they
packed her stuff and they went to the door...she
didn't live that far away from him so she could walk.
He told her he thought she was an amazing, strong,
and very brave woman. She said thank you and,
suddenly, without even realizing what he was
doing.....he kissed her and stood there...kissing her,
for at least 2 minutes. She told him good bye then
they both turned away and smiled nonchalauntly.
chapter 2
as soon as she got home there was a tornado in town
and jacob was so scared because the tornado was
really close and he had no shelter becuase he didnt
have a basement or anywhere to hide from it so he ran
as fast as he could to lillies house becuase she had
told him where she lived before they kissed.. and so
he ran as fast as a speeding bullet to her house and
they had shelter there but the torando was going on
until like 8 o clock in the morning and it was only 6 o
clock pm so while they were scared and in a shelter
they cuddled up and prayed and they fell alseep
cuddled next to each other and next thing they new
the torando was done and jacob went home and told
his aunt and she hugged him and she said" i am so
glad nothing happend to u, i dont no what i would
do!!" and he was amazed.......because, for the first
time since he ever met his Aunt......he saw that she
really, truly cared! The next day, he went to see Lillie
and told her what had happened with his Aunt and she
was just as amazed as he was! He asked if her foster
parents had been worried about her and she said that
they had died because of them not being in the
shelter......he felt horrible for even asking but she
told him it was alright and there was no way he could
have known. So, he wanted to make it up to her and
make sure she did NOT have to move to another
foster home so he went to the agency and asked if she
could live with his Aunt and him and they told him
that was fine as long as his Aunt signed the release
form for her to move in with them....so he went,
asked his Aunt if she thought it was a good idea and
she said she had no problem taking care of the poor
girl.....you know, she felt pretty sorry about the
whole foster parents dying in the tornado thing. So it
was set....Lillie moved in and they got to hang out
with each other like boyfriend and girlfriend everyday.
They even started DATING!! Everyone at school was
talking about it.....they thought it was cute but they
didn't understand for awhile how they had become
friends or anything so they had to explain it to almost
everyone at school that they had been hanging out and
told them ALMOST everything....except one little
detail......THE KISS!! Everyone wanted to know if
they had been together before the tornado or after
and they always said....."We were together before we
even met.....but we didn't know it......it was hidden
deep in our hearts for a long time.....but then, destiny
took its course...". Everyone thought that it was
amazing how perfect for each other they were and
now, they were kind of popular because everyone
knew that they were going out and they were the
ONLY ones in the school with dates to the dance!
Everyone thought that the first people with dates to
the dance was going to be The Quarterback of the
Football team and The head
Cheerleader...a.k.a....Johnny Prema and Anna
Spalding. But, it ended up being Lillie and Jacob..they
were probably the most popular kids at school all
because of love!
chapter 3
The next day Lillie and Jacob decided to go to a party
that they had been invited to(all because of their new
found popularity) because, well, they had nothing
better to do. So, they got there and they didn't realize
how bad it was....the party, i mean........there was
beer and "inappropriate things" going on that made
them wish that they had never gone to the party. It
made them wish that they had stayed home and
watched the T.V. special on Cow's eating disorders.
But, it was too late......the saddest thing was that
they had never been so liked before by so many
people, and they didn't want to lose it because of one
party.....so, they decided to join the "fun". They
ended up drinking and drunk...so everyone told them
to relax and sit down on the couch and wait until the
party was over....but, did they listen....no. They
went upstairs while Jacob used the bathroom.(The
alcohol went through him really fast!)Eventually
they ended up in a bedroom, laying there next to
each other, staring into each others' dilated eyes.
And the next part, well, let's just say that the list of
things that had made them not want to stay at the
party.....(you arent suppose to do this until you
are married)had been completely and exceedingly
more done by them. They went from most popular kids in
school to most laughed at kids with the worst
reputations in school! They had ruined their lives all to
stay popular,not knowing that in the process they
would ruin what they had tried to uphold.
Chapter 4
The next day they went to school was the worst
day of their lives.....they were ridiculed and insulted
the whole day. They knew that they would never have
a chance of a better life in this place. Luckily,(and I
mean once in a lifetime L-U-C-K-Y!)Jacob's Aunt got
a promotion that forced them to move from
Dallas, Texas to Bloomington, Illinois...so there life of
torture was officialy over!(at least that's what they thought)
When they got to Bloomington it was really late and storming
...Lillie as so scared of storms so Jacob held her close the
whole car ride. When they finally found their address it was
morning and they were really tired so they went up to bed and fell
asleep for about 12 hours and woke up to the awkward smell of
smoke and oil...it didn't seem very good to them so they slowly
went down the stairs with Jacob in the front and Lillie in the back,
but, before Lillie could catch up to Jacob she heard a loud noise
and saw Jacob running back up the stairs. He looked so scared
and so shocked! She ran up with him as he grabbed her hand
and they ran to his bedroom, went into the room hidden in
the closet and climbed up into its ceiling. After they had finally
gotten into the hiding spot she asked him what was wrong he told
her that he saw his Aunt shot by a man in a black outfit. Suddenly
they heard noise in his bedroom right next to them. Luckily,
they weren't seen and the man left only a few moments after they
had gone in to the "Panic Room". When they got out they saw
that everything valuable was stolen from them. They called 911
right away and the police took just minutes to get there. They hadn't
gone downstairs because they didn't want to see his Aunt laying on the
floor. They went down after they had taken her body away in a bag and
they asked if she was ok because they didn't know she was dead. They
found out and much to Lillie's surprise...he started to cry. She didn't
know what else to do so she got down on her knees with him and started
to cry with him. She didn't know his Aunt very well but knowing she was
gone hurt her on the inside deep down too. After it was all said and done
they asked the police what would happen to them. They said that when
they found her Will they would decide what to do.
They found her Will hidden under her bedroom floor boards. It stated
that everything she had went to her wonderful nephew Jacob. He almost
started to cry again but stopped himself when he heard the policeman
say that she had saved up money for him for when he wanted to go to
collefe...and then some. She had saved him 500, 000 dollars! He asked
what would happen to the house...they told him that it was his and
whoever he chose to live with him. Of course, that meant Lillie and
because of the money...they decided to buy a couple puppies. Luckily,
he got to keep the house at such a young age because of the date that
his Aunt stated the state had decided he was legal to receive the Will's
statements and such....
After they had gotten settled in their new and improved home(don't
worry it was the same one...they just renovated it)...they decided to go
out on a walk with their puppies...but just as they opened the door....
